Hey cuties! Today I have something totally different for you on the blog! Maybe you already now that I’m part of the Blogger Advent calender 2014 and today is my turn. I’ve chosen this day, because it’s St. Nicholas‘ Day. Do you already have plans for today? If not, you can bake these cookies. I promise that they taste fantastically!
Unfortunately I’m not able to sit at home, bake and eat cookies today, because I’m at cheer practice from 2PM till open end because we’re practicing for the championship which is exactly in one week. I’m really excited and looking forward to it. Anyway, enough from me. Let’s get down to cookies!
THE RECIPE – FOR 3 BAKING SHEETS
400g flour
250g milled nuts
250g sugar
2 eggs
1 package vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
+ seasonings (gingerbread seasoning, Cardamom (milled), speculoos seasoning) by instinct.
Mix all ingredients together and roll out the dough with a rolling pin. After that only cut out the cookies with different cookie cutters and repeat until the dough is used. After the cookies are brought out from the oven and cooled a little moment, you can decorate it already. We decided to decorate our cookies with chocolate, frosting and sprinkles – just like every year.
P.S.: You can use exact this recipe for gluten free cookies by only replacing the flour with corn flour.
