In July I visited Brussels with with my boyfriend for two days and we stayed in the central 5 star Sofitel Brussels Le Louise hotel. The entrance of the hotel is special and not like in all other hotels. When you go through the large beautiful entrance door, you first see two escalators, because the reception and the rooms are on the first floor.
We were greeted very friendly and although we already arrived at 11:00 clock, we could directly check in! The room was really nice and beautifully decorated. The bed was big, soft and cuddly – perfect to directly take a nap! The furniture and decoration are very simple and modern, which we both liked very much. The bathroom has a great size and also the shower is a dream come true – I love rain showers! The light on the mirror is perfect for make-up, which is very important to me.
After we had explored the room sufficiently, we decided to check out, what else the hotel has to offer. We have discovered a small but fine gym, which is also designed in a modern way. We also sat in the lobby with the nice bench and the huge armchairs and enjoyed the fresh water before going back to explore Brussels.
The next morning we directly went to the restaurant to enjoy some breakfast. There is – as expected – a great selection of everything. Fresh rolls, bread, cold cuts and even macarons! We enjoyed it and tried many different things from the buffet. There is also a nice terrace, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t that nice, so we enjoyed our breakfast inside.
Overall, the stay at the Sofitel Brussels Le Louise hotel was very great, especially because of the central location. We could reach everything by foot and could return to the hotel quickly for a sightseeing break. Also the rooms and the breakfast were exactly to our taste. Of course, the Sofitel Brussels Le Louise hotel is priced higher and may not be affordable for everyone, but occasionally you have to treat yourself, especially if you go to your well-deserved holiday. I can only recommend this hotel in Brussels if you plan a trip there.
I will also publish a detailed Brussels guide in the next couple of weeks!
