Dann her damit!
It finally happened this year – my sister and I signed up for the gym together. As many of you may now, I’m doing cheerleading for a long time now (10 years to be exact) and currently cheer practice is four times a week – this should be enough workout, right? Not for me, apparently! Even before my semester abroad I always wanted to try out a gym, but I didn’t dare to do so. But now my sister and I tried it out together and we really like it. If you’re interested, I’d write a blogpost about my first experiences in the gym and what motivated me to go to the gym four times a week!
Now I want to talk about the main topic of this article, which is music. For me, music plays a very important role in my workout in the gym. But not only in the gym, the music is important in all sporting activities like jogging, home workouts and so on. The right music is what motivated me to keep going and which gives me energy. If I don’t have the right tracks on, I’m not that motivated and it’s much harder for me to workout – do you have the same feeling? If you’re the same you can take a look at my current favorite workout songs. Do you have any recommendations for songs? Just let me know!
There is something else which is almost as important as the music – the headphones. I’ve tried tree different headphone versions during my workout and I only liked one of those – the Powerbeats 2 Wireless from Beats by Dre*. Next to these I’ve tried my standard Apple headphones and my big Beats Wireless, which I didn’t like because I was annoyed by the cable of the apple headphones and my Beats Wireless are too big for a workout, press too much on my head and I had the feeling that they move to much while running. With the Powerbeats 2 I didn’t even feel that I’m wearing headphones – they are totally lightweight. It was totally different at first, because of the shape and the look but these headphones absolutely convinced me. No cables, no movement and nothing to worry about – just perfect for a workout.
